Woke up late in the afternoon. First thing on the list was to drive to South Beach. After a little bit, we ate brunch at Maxine’s, then went to the Bayside Marketplace, where we spent most of our day. Traffic getting there was annoying because there was a Heats game. I think it was Heats versus 76ers and it was a really big deal. Everyone in the area wore Heats jerseys. If I had to compare it to a place in New York, it’d most definitely be Southstreet Seaport. For one, it was by the waters. But it was more like Seaport 5.0. Many more things to do. Loud music, lots of stores and restaurants, and fun vibe.
